When I was a kid, we had a horrifying 1/4 mile steeply uphill unpaved "driveway". I think my dad had PTSD from trying to keep it clear all winter up here in the snow belt. Every time we went places, if there was a any sort of steep grade or roughness, he would say "I bet this is a bitch in the winter"
This isn't my childhood driveway, but it did give me major bitch in the winter vibes. 
(Remember having to get out to lock wheel hubs for four wheel drive? That was my job as a kid.)
