Sealed watercolor and gouache wrapped in Aluminum. 
This is the right most of a loose triptych. I'll be releasing the next two in the coming nights. They're totally fine as single pieces but do work great as a set. 
I'm a big fan of aspen. Their stark white trunks lend contrast and repetition of line in my paintings. They're also cool since they form big clonal clumps of trees. Out west some of them are 20,000 years old. Mammoths walked among them. 
The skies in this set are an iridescent sapphire blue, I wanted to experiment with it and love how it almost gives a night time vibe.
