Norway spruces are a ubiquitous part of my landscape. Planted heavily during the 1930's, the groves of spruces can be found all over NY and PA. This stand runs down hill from a curve on Chapel Hill between Olean and Ellicottville NY. 
 
This painting has layers of iridescence in the sky, so it changes throughout the day as light hits it differently. I highly recommend lighting it, because it GLOWS.
