Norway spruces are a ubiquitous part of my landscape. Planted heavily during the 1930's, the groves of spruces can be found all over NY and PA. This stand is based on a wind break planted in the edge of a farm field in Allegany County NY.
 
This painting has layers of iridescence in the sky, so it changes throughout the day as light hits it differently. I highly recommend lighting it, because it GLOWS.
