This clump of aspen is right off the flood control dike where I like to walk in the winter. 
 
Watercolor and gouache. 3.5 x 3.5 inches on a 4 inch square of 300 lb cotton rag paper.
Presented in a black shadowbox frame with a half inch spacer to give a floating effect.
