These birch trees grow at the edge of a meadow near a great boardwalk trail. It winds around our local BOCES school and is maintained by the kids. It's on top of the hills so makes a nice walk when I need to really get some steps in.
 
Watercolor and gouache. 3.5 x 3.5 inches on a 4 inch square of 300 lb cotton rag paper.
Presented in a black shadowbox frame with a half inch spacer to give a floating effect.
