I think this painting may be my favorite painting of all time!
Words like "dynamic" and "rich" come to mind. It's a painting you won't get bored with because it shifts with the light. The sky has a subtle iridescence, and the reds are well...very, very red. But with a subtlety of tone that I'm not quite sure how I achieved? 
I rarely want to keep my own work but I'm damn close with this one! (But you know, rent)
It's based on a wind break on a farm in Clarksville NY. These Norway spruces aren't native, but they've become a ubiquitous part of the landscape here.
