I'm pretty excited to be back this year! Last year, after over a decade of participating I realized I needed a break. Or thought I did. 😅.
Minis started when a group of us all got together and shared each other's pieces on Facebook (back when everyone was on Facebook, pre toxic days) (or maybe less toxic?)
It evolved into something more serious, then Theresa took it over and built it into what it is today.
Anyway, all that said, I really missed it last year! It's a TON of work getting 25 pieces together.
And this year after coming home from Rittenhouse in September I got really sick (tested negative for COVID but that was home tests and I think they're iffy at best). October was supposed to be fairly leisurely month of painting, but turned into a compressed two weeks of craziness after I felt better. Hopefully it was worth it, and hopefully you find this collection as compelling as I do. There are some pieces I took risks on that I LOVE.
Thanks for all the support and here's to a great show!
Sean
(How about this photo I took the other night on my walk? Such a cool fleeting moment)
